Linn - Susannah Fender

Susannah Fender Linn was born in Wayne County, Indiana Jan 25, 1832. Was married to John Linn Sept 13, 1842. TO them were born two children, Asbury Linn and Emeline Peterson. Both yet survive her. She was the oldest of six children, two boys and four girls. All have preceded her but two, Mrs. Louisa Chesterson of near Crawfordsville and Nancy Chamberlain of Momence, Ill. There are 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, all living. She became a member of the ME Church at the age of 15 years. She died July 11, 1900 aged 78 years, 5 months 16 days. The funeral took place from the ME Church in Mace Friday morning at 10 o’clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev HC Riley. - kbz
